In recent years we have seen waistcoat gain popularity such as the Frontier waistcoat that Laurie is wearing in the picture above. Far from being a new waistcoat it is one of he original apparel worn by the highlander. It comes in tweed or black wool.

		The waistcoat that Scott is wearing is the Lowlander. Scott like most young men wants to wear something a little more modern so he is wearing Dark Island kilt. Dark Island has a pattern and it is black on black. It also comes in dark blue, or you can have just a plain coloured kilt.
