  Semi Dress Wear

The Argyll Jacket is normal worn as a jacket for less formal occasions. This jacket can be worn during the day or in the evening.

It is slightly shorter than a suit or sports jacket in order to complement the kilt. If perhaps you were a guest at a wedding, this jacket would be acceptable made in wool but not in tweed.

There is only one button to fasten at the front, three buttons on each pocket, and shaped cuffs also with three silver coloured buttons. It also has two small back vents. This jacket can be made in different colours to match the colour of your kilt.

This style of Jacket can also be made in Tweed. The tweed jacket is kept for day-wear only, and can be worn to such events as Highland games.
