Ann specialises in the Traditional Highland Kilt Outfit and accessories for Gentlemen, ladies and dancers alike. She has satisfied innumerable customers, including a host of celebrated Pipe Majors and pipe bands both home and abroad.

In the Kiltroom, Ann has a wide range of beautiful tartan kilts, sporrans, sgian dubhs, glengarrys, kilt pins, childrens kilts, scottish clan tartan, cloth, ties and ribbon, in addition to the Highland dress. All of these can be supplied on request.



The wearing of the kilt has long been one of Scotland's most famous Traditions and today stands as a symbol of Scotland and her proud Culture wherever the wearer may be.
Ann Higgins Kiltmaker is a family-owned business, which has just recently moved from Dufftown after working from this scenic village for 13 years to Ann's KILTROOM at home in Aberlour Gardens in the Parish of Aberlour a beautiful rural spot where the wildlife and walsks are plentiful.
We estimate that the total number of kilts sewn by Ann is in the region of 10,000 .

All of our Traditional Kilts are handmade by Ann herself, who served a five-year apprenticeship with R. G. Lawries of Glasgow in the 1960s. Ann Higgins Kiltmaker moved to the Speyside area in 1989 and has been manufacturing kilts for 39 years.
